Do your best to get to the gym over the winter months.
Exercise does wonders to help beat the dark weather blues. Any kind of cardio is generally a winner in the fight against depression. Despite what people say or think, Seasonal Affective Disorder is quite rare, and can most effectively be treated with intense light therapy and CBT.
The rest of us tend to feel low mood in so little light. And cold. Don't take the easy road of stuffing yourself with carbs to feel happy.
Hit the gym hard and in short bursts to keep your workout more manageable and more effective. Whilst incredibly difficult to maintain, do try to curb your alcohol intake and maintain a healthy (ish) diet (hard with all of the holidays ahead), and when in doubt...spray some BetterYou B12 Boost.
